Hey James, great to hear from you. I'm often wondering what you've been up to.

Hope you and Ritz have a wonderful Christmas time :)

Christmas service and after party went well at church today. Christmas day is not a public holiday here, so Christmas services are normally held on the nearest Sunday prior to Christmas.

Max 8 (today) Currently 5C, forecast min -2C. Forecast our first snow (for this season) at low altitude for early hours of tomorrow morning. Got the camera ready.

It might be $12, that number rings a bell. The EPs will be $15.... but don't buy them on the night, I'll be selling them cheaper than that ;)

It's the perfect gig for non-metal heads. Lacrymae and Voyager have the ability to turn even the most stubborn of non-metalheads.

Ulcerate - Everything is Fire.

Incredibly good, but very depressing, brutal death/doom metal band from New Zealand of all places.

Advent Sorrow will be replacing The Sixth Extinction. Advent Sorrow are doom/death, and very good at it.

The word is very confrontational and controversial and over the years I think we've all become jaded as to what the world thinks about us and we've changed the way we preach and watered down the word a lot in order to suit their [non believer] views and not God's.

Sorry, I meant The Sixth Extinction... I get them mixed up a lot, can never remember which one I've seen before.

the castle isn't full of metal bogans....

I go there, and I'm far from being a metal bogan.... In fact Zoobs, you're probably a heck of a lot more metal than I am.

Sight Transcend? Do you mean Red Descending? Or has there been a line-up change whilst I wasn't looking?

I also was holding out for a gig at the amplifier because the last time I was there there were actually normal people there just to socialise, ie. the whole place wasn't completely full of only metal bogans like the Castle would be, so hopefully they won't feel TOO out of place :)

Excellent! It's the perfect line-up for non-metal people... except for Sight Transcend, no big deal if they miss out on them. Very similar (if not the same) line-up as the Voyager CD launch.

I'll be there anyway :D
