Arch Enemy AND Suffocation!!!!

Thats right, Arch Enemy and Suffocation are playing in Perth on November 1st!!! Plus Arch Enemy are the headlining act so they'll get a proper set, not like the measley 40 minutes they got opening for Trivium and Machine head!

I'm so excited I could wet myself, frankly I'm going to this one alone if I have to but if anyone else would like to come with me that would be nice. Arch Enemy were fantastic last time, easily the best band of the night.

Tickets available from Mosh Tix, finally worked out how to use their website: Tickets are $77.10 all up, and apparently it starts at 5pm (?)

I'd love to see Arch Enemy again, although I'm no sure if I can afford it this time. Might end up being the same case as Megadeth, missing out this time around :(

so then...does anyone else that I know in Perth like Arch Enemy and Suffocation?...Dave?...Vaughan?...I meant it when I said I'll go myself if I have to, but thats not my preferred option...

well, I thought the ones I had were good enough... :P

Bought my ticket today, $78 from the moshtix outlet in Joondalup...gee, that works out to less than $8 a week from now until the show - isn't that cheap and affordable!

Man you guys all missed out - they were AWESOME!!

The opening act was Claim the Throne, who put on a hilarious show as usual. Suffocation were FANTASTIC - I have never seen lead playing like that before, ever! - except their lead singer is a bit crazy...before each song he would give a profanity-filled rant for about 20 seconds on some random topic of how there is no f***in' way that we are the only f***ing planet with f***ing life given how many other f***ing planets there are in the f***ing universe, then almost mid-thought would segway into ranting about something else completely unrelated for a few seconds, then would stop and say "this next song is called..." and introduce a song that has nothing to do with any of the things he just ranted about.

They must have had some serious problems setting up for Arch Enemy coz it took them over an hour! I think they had to cut their set short as a result coz they still finished at midnight on the dot, and their set was the same length as Suffocation's...still, they put on a killer show (better than the last time I saw them as I was 10 metres from the stage instead of 75 metres), except they didn't play Nemesis or Silverwing :(
