I've got a car at last ;D It's a '95 Ford Falcon sedan. And since it continues the tradition of being my preferred mode of transport to musical events, it assumes the title of Primitive Rhythm Machine (III). However, it does not continue the tradition of being unroadworthy, neither does it accommodate a mattress in the rear This one is a lot more comfortable than the previous versions, although it's still the poverty-spec GLi variant. It has cruise control, which is essential for those long drives and also for preserving the license It also has a roo bar (for obvious reasons). I have a stereo system ready to install later as I am currently relying on a Walkman with a car kit The car really drinks heavily (4.0 six-cyl.) so I'll get an LP gas conversion ASAP. I'll put up a photo later...

Your PRM sounds very much like my TANK (AKA- "Grug") My last TANK was an old XF all it needed to truly be a tank was the massive cannon.

PRM III is nearly the same as mine!!
mines the 93 version though "ED" and its already on gas, with cd player!!
No cruise control though, and don't really need the roo bar!!

They're fashion accessories only in the sense that:
a) truck mudflaps are cool on utes;
b) the male wardrobe consists almost entirely of wifebeaters and double-pluggers;
and
c) Bundaberg Rum is considered preferable to cat urine.
So in that sense, yeah, it's cool.
Otherwise, it's purely function over form.

Not THAT kind of dash mat...
talk about your "ultimate bogan accessory"... where would we be without the bar mat on the dash?
nah; it's just the standard Ford dash mat.
Today I got a steering wheel cover and some floor mats. I'm a believer in any accessory that stops your car from deteriorating quite as fast as it normally would. I also got some seatbelt cushions free with the wheel cover but I reckon they're a bit gay so they've gone in the back seats. I have seat covers for the front seats but they won't be fitted for a while yet - just discovered that the driver's seat is actually BROKEN. I have to buy another one... pricey even from wreckers, so Quokka, here we come!!!
