Yay! you even understand what pop is. I like metal but i like variety more. I dont know if pop has more variety but its so darn catchy. you sometimes want to hate it for how catchy it is but then you find yourself singing it without evern realizing it and you hope that no one you know is standing behind you looking at you like you're a complete idiot. Anybody heard of Luna Halo? Their not pop i dont think. They're rock or softrock maybe. theyre cool though.

when i was a young boy there were pop stars everywhere i looked...........I'm not going to mention any names of some of these 'over the top" pop stars that were essentially one hit wonders i used to listen to as a kid (younger than age 10 i was)............but i did get my weekly fix listening to casey kasem at midnight on sunday nights when i was supposed to be in bed sleeping......no wonder my parents hated waking me up every monday morning, I was up until 1 am listening to the radio...........long before FM radio started...............I was a music junkie then and still am to this very day

I LOVE luna halo. do you know when their next Cd comes out? (please reply shatteredlight)....i think I have the most recent Ep...other than that, only the Beatles qualify as pop(as in popular, not true pop) in my collection. I do have a lot of other decades rock like led zeppelin, pink floyd, alan parsons praject and kansas though.

Dark Side of the Moon was a major letdown for me. Zepplin? But of Course.

I will admit - I like pop music. But then I am also into country. I think I like everything but Reggae - that just makes me want to put a drill to my head and press the button. ugh.
Lately my weakness is what they are calling "adult alternative" *rolls eyes - I can't POSSIBLY like something that makes me sound old - and adult - now can I? - Train, Matchbox Twenty, Anna Nalick, Dishwalla.
To the person who said Clay Aiken is her guilty pleasure... my boyfriend.. (who is like manly man tough guy)- has a secret thing for listening to Kelly Clarkson... shhhhhh.

wow...both names in the same thread...scary. I like that ONE song from clarkson...Breakout, breakaway, breakup, it's break-something. This poor 'screamo' guy in my sixth hour @ school had a run-in with some crazy girls....they scribbled 'Kyle likes Kelly Clarkson and Clay Aiken' on his binder and drew hearts and rainbows and wrote'I dream about boys' on it as well. I felt so sorry for him, but it was too funny. I was sitting right next to him, and I doubled over and cracked up at least three times during the class(you had to see it and his face together-beautiful) ...The teacher had GRAFFITI REMOVER in her closet though, so It all came off, even though it was permanent marker. It scares me that the government teacher had so many powerful chemicals. She had nail polish remover and hair spray in there as well...that room smelled really awful after it was over. What does a Government teacher need graffiti remover in her classroom for? Was she huffing it or something? I have some doubts about her now...

Ohh - that is horrible. Girls can be really really nasty. My best friend teaches 4th grade - I won't tell you all the arsenol she has in her desk. I have (proudly) never seen an episode of American Idol. I just can't stomach stuff like that. There is an really awesome rock band out here called Five Am- they are local guys, and they should be bigger than Matchbox Twenty (at least in my opinion - mostly cause they are hot, sweet and their music is 100x better) if ya'll are curious you can check them out at www.fiveam.com they just put out a video that is awesome too.
