Sorry for double-posting on my first post(my post right up there↑), but do you care if I add this to my sig? "and me understanding metalcore/hardcore lyrics is like Paris Hilton using common sense"

Everyone has different opinions on this, I know. If a Christian writes lyrics that aren't Christian, then it's of the world, and if it's not for God then it's against God.; there's no gray area. Welcome to the Centurion's Outpost Josh2o, glad you decided to check us out. We're in a bit of a lull in activity at the moment, so a new face will help liven things up. As for the above quote, you do have to be careful about that. Take for example mathematics. Can you do your maths in a Christan way? No not particularly, but you can hold yourself in a Christian way, and behave in a Christian way, even though the actual calculations are no different. I feel that it is possible for a Christian to write "normal" lyrics, and as long as their life reflects Christ, they are not doing anything against God. It really is an interesting discussion, as there are so many ways to look at the topic. EDIT: as for your sig, go for it. We're VERY laid back here, so don't take much of what we say seriously. Watch out for the teasing though
