Haha...yeh, I'm going to ask- Did you land those tricks? ;D Actually, yeah I did, I think? lol I know I landed the first one where I am doing the indy grab because there was only 1 photo taken of that and I landed it. The 2nd one I am doing a kickflip from the quater to flat bank ramp and I didn't fall on my butt. ;D I don't know if I landed that one in the photo but I can land them. That is exactly what you're supposed to look like doing that trick. haha. I am still quite good at skateboarding even though I don't get on the skateboard often. Just before Christmas 2006 I had to go to hospital for an operation so I couldn't skate or surf for a few weeks so I bought a new skateboard, sanded it back and did my own painting on it. I hand painted a "Ultimatum" logo on the tail, hand painted a dvs logo on the front kick and put a "Mortification" sticker in the middle of the board. Here's some photos of it:

Thats really cool that you skate man. I used to a bit but never got real good. And I would snap boards pretty easy cause of my size and when I hit the ground I hit it hard ;D

Thats really cool that you skate man. I used to a bit but never got real good. And I would snap boards pretty easy cause of my size and when I hit the ground I hit it hard ;D Thanks mate. I used to snap boards all the time too. I don't weigh heaps but when you do tricks from high ramps and land on the board its quite a bit of pressure for that small piece of wood ;D I am average at skateboarding compared to some of the kids at the skateparks these days. I used to be pretty good but you have to skate everyday to get really good at it. I know what you mean about hitting the ground hard man. I have broken my arm from skating. I have had quite a few other injuries from skating too. Just a fact of life I suppose, especially when all there is to land on is concrete when we fall off the board.haha. I am not supposed to skate actually. I did stop for a while but I get back on it every now and then. I have had a bad knee problem in the past. My doctor told me years back it was from skating and told me to stop. He said it was too much pressure on my knees. I used to have a little piece of cartiliage floating around in the knee and it used to make the knee cease up when it locked in the joint, pretty nasty. I literally had to grab my leg and crack it to get the cartiliage out of the joint. I prefer to go surfing now. Its good for your upper body strength from all the paddling, which helps my drumming, and it also doesn't hurt as much when you fall in the ocean. That depends on if you're surfing reef or not, I prefer beachies. I have had a couple surfing injuries. I got all cut up at a reef surf break in Lancelin. I needed 6 stitches in my hand from cutting it on the surfboard fin after falling off at a local beach break, DOH.haha. The anaesthetic didn't work properly either when they stitched the hand, hurt alot I also have had a young guy fall off his surfboard, only for it to flick out and the point of it crack me in the head. Man, that hurt like buggery. All I saw after that was my blood dripping into the ocean, kind of reminds you of the movie JAWS. I got out of the water pretty quickly. ;D Still, all in all I prefer surfing. I love it!!
