Ok, I've got space to ask another band. I want a local death metal band. Any requests before I go and pick one anyway?

Wardaemonic have confirmed, but will not be headlining.
So, any headline-worthy death metal bands in Perth that people would like to see? I'm thinking Malignant Monster and Grotesque would fit the bill well.

Elias used to be in Grotesque but I think they were different name then? he used to be the vocalist but quit because he didn't agree with their lyrics. I have seen them once before. They were opening band at the Nile/Decapitated gig. Not bad but didn't think too much of them to be honest. Some of it sounds like they are being brutal just for the sake of being brutal. Each to their own though.

I liked them on Saturday night. I just sent them a message today.. and not an hour later I got a message from Wardaemonic saying that some of their members are also in DFC (Death F***ing C***) and would more than happy to headline for me. In a way, I'm hoping that Grotesque say no, as having DFC play right after Wardaemonic would save a lot of time, as I'd imagine they'd share a lot of the same equiment and thus less time needed to change over. I've never heard DFC, but they are quite popular around the place. In other news, Slowlight are going ot be on the Anger Management show tonight 10-12pm on Heritamge 107.3 FM, so tune in and get a sneak preview into their sound

Good to hear you found a band willing to headline. Even with a name like that

Well, I've got to wait for a reply from Grotesque first.

Of course not . . . they've got to change out things like the drum heads from one band logo to the other

Slowlight put on a killer set last night, I reckon I've made the right choice getting them to open.
DFC are now confirmed to headline.
1. Slowlight 2. Grave Forsaken 3. Wardaemonic 4. DFC
