;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D 2 of my top 3 favourite bands touring within 2 weeks of each other . Of course if they're opening they'll only get a 45 minute set...but thats better than nothing maybe it will encourage them to come to Perth more if the gig is a good one. Plus since there won't be a crazy mosh pit for them I might even be able to get up close

They were meant to do an Adelaide gig on Sat, 6th, but if they're supporting Opeth, they'll be in Sydney instead that night Times like this I hate being a teacher in a country town!

I know -I'm 440 k away from Adelaide and I have to work Thurs and Friday, so there's almost no chance I can get there and back in time.

that would be a good show. I saw Opeth back in May and they were great. Would have been good to see Virgin Black with them instead of Dream Theater.

Dream Theater AND Opeth? My word, that must have been a long show

Oh, as well as the tickets, as soon as I got home I jumped onto soundmass and ordered some Virgin Black shirts . They are 1 size too big, but I think this might be something worth getting fat for.

Something has come up... in the form of a MySpace message from a certain band... Got some thinking to do...
EDIT: its nothing bad, but could be something of strategic importance for IGIndustries... I'll let you know if anything comes of it.

Hmmm, interesting. Don't suppose anyone here in Perth who is not already going, would be interested in seeing Opeth. Exodus, I've got you in mind... you'll be getting a pm soon.

hmmm.... musta been an off night for them.... Yeah, plus the two other bands who played before them Between the Buried and Me and Opeth were both heavy and just seemed to have more stage presence. I was kinda hoping to see some DT improvisation.

It would appear that I have two tickets to Opeth/VB that I can sell or part with. Anyone wanting a ticket?
