Nah, The ones i do using the computer i do them in photoshop, i use the transform tool a lot with them others i do by hand. I have heaps more, i did a portfolio for one of my subjects last year at University. Also had to go into the history of tattooing, some of it is very interesting..
This is called scarification, the Samoan's did this to their young men also as an initiation into manhood and in some cases the pain was so intence that the young man would pass out.

...yeah I know about the scarification...I watched a special on it.
I really need to get to learn photo/paintshop better. Are there any books/courses you suggest?

i made this design a while ago. someday maybe i'll get it tattooed on my arm or something. right now, my mom would never let me get a tattoo. if you look closely, there's a cross and a skull.

I don't see any point in a tattoo. Seriously, it's just going to look really stupid when you're older. Definitely don't get a tattoo of a band or something cause in at most 15-25 years you probably won't listen to them anymore and you'll just regret having the tattoo. And the cross on the wrist thing? Why don't you just wear a WWJD bracelet? I don't think it's glorifying God to spend $100 to get that on your wrist. If you have $100 to throw around, spend it more wisely than that.

I agree with you about the band thing. It needs to be something that means something to you. And NEVER get a name - (unless of course you can cover it up... )
I have winne the pooh and tigger on my backside (yes Toddly - I have permapoo on my butt) and when I got married - 3 of us new brides thought it would be cool to go and have or men's nick names tattooed on us (let's not talk about how stupid THAT was) well lucky me - the Tattoo guy being a good friend - put his right next to pooh and tigger should I ever *change my mind* and when I got divorced the Tattoo guy installed a very pretty tree next to Pooh and Tigger - all I need now is a little blue stream going buy and I'll have an entire comic strip panel on my butt.
Of course I don't regret the Tigger/Pooh or my Tinkerbell tattoo at all and they are about 10 years old now.
my point? i lost my point... oh yes - Choose Wisely!

I WOULD regret cartoon characters...seems a little silly to me. I'd go the way of designs and stuff. I agree with altruist an the expense. You shouldn't pay 100 for something like a cross on your wrist. Tatoos are too expensive. They should be 20$ max...unless really big or complex. Stupid, really. Money makes the world go round? I sometimes wonder what it would be like if there was never any such thing, but that's like communism, and it's against our human nature to do anything when we can't see the rewards coming back to us. AARGGH! The world is so messed up! Complex issues are too complex! Answers are confusing! Frustration is frustrating!
...I'll be okay, really.
