Graveworm - Secular www.myspace.com/gravewormwww.graveworm.deI've been listening to this band an awful lot lately. I've only got Graveworm's Engraved in Black, so thats the only one i can comment on. The song Abhorrence on the mysapce is off that album. The other tunes there have more growling than is present on Engraved. The lyrics aren't anti-christian as far as I know, so thats not a problem to me. The music is fairly groovy and very brutal. The vocals are a mid to high ranged rasp with the occasional growl thrown in for good measure. They keyboards are used to add atmosphere to it... and some aethetic appeal (as shes female) If you want to hear my favorite song, find and listen to Beauty in Malice. PM me if you can't find that song, and I'll hook you up with an email.

Interesting stuff. Seems to have some death metal influence too. I'll have to check into this more.

Yeah, it seems their newer material has a fair few deathy influences. I definitely noticed this while listening to their new songs on myspace.

Heheh, when I saw that you had posted in here Eric, I knew to expect a huge list, although I also know that everyone of those bands will be top-notch.
