yeah that always confuses me too - the Liberals are the conservatives and Labor are the liberals (a generalisation of course, but you know what I mean). Actually a few of my friends on Facebook have their political view set to 'Liberal', and I don't have the heart to tell them that that doesn't mean what they think it means.
My 0.02c though - Rudd has publically declared that he believes that marriage is between a man and a woman. So, while America moves itself closer each day to being destroyed by fire falling from heaven, Australia is good for another few years at least...

My 0.02c though - Rudd has publically declared that he believes that marriage is between a man and a woman. So, while America moves itself closer each day to being destroyed by fire falling from heaven, Australia is good for another few years at least... yeah, the california courts overturned a petition by the people who wanted a ban against gay marriage....the courts said "haha to bad, we're allowing them gays to be teh marrieds now cuz yer voties and voicez don't teh matterz!". In my state they have a law enacted that recognizes "sexual orientation" as a "protected demography of people". And that, is unconstitutional in the USA. Race/Color/Creed and sex are covered in the first amendment of the US constitution not "sexual preference". then again PC speech has pretty much taken away our first amendment rights all together.
