What is your musical guilty pleasure, other than what you would normally play or listen to?
For me... Jazz.

nothin wrong with greenday... they were one of the first bands I got into...
for me, I actually have several. Classical and Jazz are good ones, as the old school rock stuff, but my biggest guilty pleasure is: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . really wussy pop music.... for some reason, I really enjoy stuff by Kelly Clarkson and the like.... not all of it, but some of it I really enjoy. Nothing better than crusing down the freeway singing along to Behind These Hazel Eyes at full volume, if only for the strange looks you sometimes can get.
But having said that (and I just did): METAL, YEAHH!!! HORNS UP!!!

I listen to such a range of music, I don't feel guilty about any of it! . As jmaxwell said, if I like it it's for a good reason. I don't like to get bored, so I'm often playing different styles!

Even if you don't feel guilty about it... we'll make you feel guilty for listening to it.

Though I don't willingly subject myself to anything other than METAL blasted into my ears and loud volumes (well, not that loud volumes) at work obviously we play a lot of softer stuff, and I have to say that Casting Crowns and Newsboys aren't bad. I can't say I'd buy their albums (not even for $9 ) but when its playing I quite like it. Better than some of the other rubbish we play - VeggieTales do the 70s? UGHH

Frank Zappa: Not the best guitarist, but one of the best composers, if only for his unique musical ideas.

Frank Zappa: Not the best guitarist, but one of the best composers, if only for his unique musical ideas. I think without being a part of Zappa's band Steve Vai never would have become the composer that he is today.

I don't have that one yet, which is odd considering how many I do have. I have heard though that Bloodflowers was an album they deliberately tried to give a gothic sound, instead of it naturally happening. My favorites would be Disintegration and Seventeen Seconds.
