After the debut album "Released From Damnation" in 2006, the Australians Scourged Flesh launch market their new work "Bury The Lies". The disc is not very long, lasting less than half an hour, however (in the words of a saying) we can say: "short but intense." Following the martial of instrumental Pit of doom with Eternal affliction we launched in the heart of sonority proposed by the band: a quick round of low run by Scott Lockyer opens the piece that, after the second chorus, goes to mount recovering in the final theme of the opening.
Burnt alive represents well the heart thrash group, and in fact Tod Gilgallon surprise us with a solo guitar very classic, almost old school. Here is probably the most significant piece of the list: Judgement part fairly calm returns with guitars carpet to the background vocals, sang the ending, comes in the battery that after just stops, the guitars begin to load to become furiose, frenarsi and return with a good work in concert for the resumption of lyrics. Do not underestimate the emergence of Sue Kilgallon, guest appearance female can give a clearer color piece. The fifth track Washed in blood protagonist sees as the drummer David Kilgannon author of a performance spontaneous and genuine (one of my friends would say "genuine as the aunt of lasagna Mariapia" ... eheh!). Ashes To hell presents another early low discreet, another solo interesting, and the resurgence of women sang. Internal bleeding and Death is silent run on the track earlier, while maintaining the quality of tracks that have preceded.
In my opinion, the album has the obvious advantage of being a successful mix of genres, can be appreciated by many palates with the same intensity. The production and quality of tracks is a significant quality, able to distinguish the undoubted ability of artists to whom I wish all good and luck. The only sins are probably the texts that do not shine for content and remain always on the theme of torment and struggle in all eight tracks, which in the long run could also be monotonous. This in part advice to all listening to this album with the conviction that has something to say to every lover of metal.
