what do you guys think of ISIS? If you haven't heard their music, here is their myspace. Take note that they don't really have "singles" per say. To me is seems more like each album is an experience that has to be taken as a whole, so it's hard to generate interest off of a single song. Dan showed me them, but it wasn't until i sat and listened to an entire album that I was able to appreciate it. For me, it's great music to use when you have to concentrate. Slow drowning and doomy with buried in the mix vocals which most of the time there are no vocals. I love it

My favorite is probably Panopticon...Absence of Truth is good too cause the singer experiments more with his clean vocals....Oceanic is always considered the "Classic" album from them...but it's just his vocals just seem very forced (IMHO) and the music is still good but again the production also makes it feel like a very forced performance on some tracks.
