Hailing from Perth, inVoid have been described as "The Cure meets My Silent Wake", playing a folky, goth rock with some obvious doom/death influence. Their live sets are moving away from the folk background, and more down the hard hitting energetic goth rock/doom path. inVoid currently have the #1 metal song on Tripple J's Unearthed metal charts, with Release This Butterfly (appearing on the demo). To celebrate their achievement, the demos are on $SALE$ in the webstore. Direct Link to the demo in storeThey sound better live, than on the demo, of course. So check out this live clip from early this year. There has been a slight line up change since then (the guitarist on the left has left the band), and they are much tighter, but its still a good taste of their energy and intensity. WARNING: There are at least two naughty words in the clip, so cover your ears if you are offended by such things. www.youtube.com/watch?v=79gBenDQreMFor a taste of the direction they are going down, check out Butterfly. www.myspace.com/theinvoid
