It's only about 10-11 months before I move to Japan.
Things to do before I move to Japan:-
1. Finish the DOTC Vid 2. Prepare a list of other things to do before moving to Japan. ;D ;D ;D

Not long to go now!
Making lists is fun, doing the things on the lists isn't.

Hi all from Nagaokakyo (Na-Ga-O-Ka-Kyo) Assembly of God Church.
We are going well, I now have finalised my visa arrangements so I have a 3 year multiple reenty visa and can work in any job I can find here.
Yesterday we caught up with Taka in his home town which was a 40 minute train trip, then a 1hr 30min highway bus (like a transwa bus) trip away from here. Tonight he is coming to Nagaokakyo to see us. He'll be heading off to work at an Ophanage in Thailand very soon.
I've just been playing a bit of Grave Forsaken to the Pastor here, who said "it is good music for young people".
We need more missionaries in Japan, and Single guys listen up: Single Girls out number Single Guys 6 to 1 in churches in Japan, we keep getting asked do we have any friends to introduce to them!

Some photos from the trip:- www.pbase.com/jameslclarke/japan08Still more to post, but not too many really because it was such a hectic trip and I didn't have time to do too many shots... Then I can get back to finishing off last year's trip gallery!

Seeks Australian Christian guy with a heart for reaching Japanese people, who is single, never married and aged between of 35-47.

We should have "Back To Japan" ready for distribution by the end of this week. It was supposed to be ready earlier this week but a power blackout at the printer's has put things behind schedule. See below a low resolution image of the cover, the real thing looks much better printed in 300dpi on the A5 Sized book. We'll be selling this book at $10 which is pretty much at cost, because we believe that God wants us to get the message out to as many people as possible. Also while stocks from the first printing of the first book "Eternity" last we can sell the two books together for $15.

Yes, this is the sequel to Eternity... This book basically covers what God has been doing in her life (and with people around her) since mid 2005 until the end of this July (2008)... We'll probably do a third book in 2010 or 2011, we already have a few things that happened in the last couple of months for the first chapter!

Hi all,
Just a quick one let you know that we made it safely to Japan today. We are currently staying at the church, we will move to our rental house on Monday.
We wanted to say that we very much value your prayers and that God has shown us two or three little miracles each and every day. It has been a very challenging last three weeks to say the least. Now that we are here you could not imagine how great the feeling was when I (James) had a shower and realised that the bath mat was one Ritsuko had brought from our house in Canning Vale.
I want to now share with you three miracles from today.
1. On the flight from Kuala Lumpur to Osaka other than me (James) there were only two other westerners on the flight, who were an elderly couple from Perth sitting the row in front of us. At Osaka Airport we helped them out since it was the first time they had been to Japan. When it turned out that their friend had not come to meet them since our flight arrived about 40mins early (6:50am) Ritsuko phone their friend and then we sat with them and chatted and got to talking about what we are doing. So we told them we are missionaries and it turns out they are Christians too, and they have had 8 Japanese students stay with them in Perth who they have shared the Gospel with. So they were coming to Japan to visit some them.
2. When we finally got off the train at Nagaokakyo station the rain stopped (it had been raining all day until then), so we didn't have to walk the last part of the journey to the church in the rain. If I had more time I might go into the details of how we got all our bags to the church.
3. As we were walking towards the church we met to guys from the other protestant church in Nagaokakyo (there are only two small protestant churches in this city of 79,000 people) who were handing out flyers for a rally they'll be holding. So we spend some time talking to them.
Prayer Points:-
1. For the work situation that it will be come clearer. 2. For our small church family here that we grow closer to God and each other.
God Bless,
James & Ritsuko Nagaokakyo, Kyoto, Japan
