More money wasting occured the other day No Prayer for the Dying, Brave New World, Faith (The Cure) and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath on cd. On vinyl we have Look What the Cat Dragged In (poison), In The Out Door (Zeppelin), Rainbow Rising (Richie Blackmore), Down To Earth (Rainbow), Blondes have more Fun (Rod Stewart), Out of this World (Europe) and i may or may not have got cradle of filths vempire album... Best of all though..... I found Number of the Beast in a $2 bin, as it was missing half its packaging, it only had the inner sleeve. What coule be better than that you may ask? Well when i opened it up at home, i realise there were TWO discs in the sleeve, not just the one So for $2 I got Number of the Beast AND Seventh Son of a Seventh son

A Brutal Christmas: The Season in Chaos I was very stoked to find a shiny new copy of this on Amazon, and asked my mum ever so sweetly if I could borrow the credit card to buy it (I'll pay her back of course). Unfortunately its coming by ship instead of plane for some reason so its gonna take 4-6 weeks!!

Unfortunately its coming by ship instead of plane for some reason so its gonna take 4-6 weeks!! Let's hope you get it then, ship mail has a very nasty habit of pulling a disappearing act on a lot o fpeople and that is precisely why so few places use it.

Ransom - Soul Asylum.
GOD BLESS YOU SOUNDMASS.COM!!
I have been looking EVERYWHERE for this cd. After catching 1 of their songs on a compilation I own I have been in love with Ransom ever since (Lisa Faxom as well as being gorgeous has an amazing rock 'n' roll voice), and have been searching far and wide for this album without success until this afternoon. And since I always order things in 2 from soundmass to save on postage (and really who needs an excuse to buy more metal?) I also got Royal Anguish - A Journey Through the Shadows of Time. Christmas has come early!

Mmmm, post-Christmas goodies
Arch Enemy - Doomsday Machine. This album rocks (metals?)!! It sounds kinda like modern day extol, except leaps and bounds better than anything on Synergy/The Blueprint Dives. Incredible drumming (loads of double bass), shredalicious solos from start to finish...and honestly, just listening to the vocals never in a million zillion years would I have imagined that such extreme death vocals could be produced by a pretty blonde girl named Angela! Anyone who hasn't check out this band definately should - quality stuff.
Judas Priest - Screaming for Vengeance Judas Priest - Painkiller
I consider myself a fan of Judas Priest, yet only just bought these 2 albums. Truly, I am ashamed...

Awesome Priest Albums. I've had Screaming for some time, but I only got Painkiller on Saturday. I like Arch Enemy, they sound great, and the FEMALE vocalist is awesome, but i don't listen to it much as they are slightly satanic...

I don't know if they are actually Satanic - as with most metal bands I think the whole inverted pentagram stuff is just for show. I had a lookie through the lyrics before buying the album, like I always do before buying secular metal, and their recent 2 albums are legit, the lyrics mostly focus around depression and anarchy (very punk!). I'd hesitate from buying any of their earlier albums though (from Wages of Sin backwards) because they have some seriously weird lyrics. 'Carnivorous Jesus, I need your flesh'. What the heck does that mean?!? So perhaps I should clarify what I said before and add, anyone who hasn't heard this band, check out their 2 most recent albums (Anthems of Rebellion and Doomsday Machine, for those of you who can't be bothered looking )
