I just got back from seeing these guys do a show. I've really never listened to them much before this but since they were in my area I decided to check em' out. I'm really more into metal then hardcore but I do enjoy some hardcore and I found this to be among the more enjoyable. The performance was intense and all the band-members gave an energetic delivery. And staying true to hardcore tradition, the pit was brutal! One of the most so that I've ever been in, and Ive been in some pretty good pits! (Slipkot, Slayer, etc.) The highlight and best overall moment for me was when Jimmy Ryan (lead vocals) announced "We really love Jesus" and the majority of the crowd (which was mostly kids under 18) applauded with great enthusiasm. I talked with Jimmy briefly after the show and he seemed like a real decent guy. Overall, good show, well worth the 12 bucks I paid for admission, and the slight hearing loss.. - LD

Welcome to Centurion Outpost Deathvox. I hope you like it here. I enjoy Haste the Day quite a bit, there is an honesty about them that many bands in that genre dont have.

They have good lyrics, but their sound is a bit unoriginal.

that is true, on both accounts. Still, that does not erase their 'goodness'

This is kinda funny... I've seen haste the day live 4 times and I can't recall any of their songs.

Myself, I figure Zao filled their slot long before they came around. That and the vocalist copies Dan.

I miss the mid-90's style berakdowns...me and Dan were just lamenting that last week...
