I don't think I've ever met you in person, but at least now if a random stranger comes up to me and says hi I'll at least know who it is

Just got home myself. I was surprised by how loud it was. I had thought only metal gigs got that loud I kinda actually had a good time, despite nearly falling sleep due to being so tired. Pillar was rather good, but I didn't like his clean vocals too much. Sorry I didn't notice you there Tabias, its been a quite a while since we've had a chance to chat in person.

Yeah I agree with you about pillar, his vocals are much better on the album, though he screamed less on the album.
I thought Switchfoot were really good too! Very, very talented musicians and performers, even if I don't really dig that sort of music anymore.

Yeah, Switchfoot did a great job. If it was more my style, I would have been jumping around screaming like a little girl too. Unfortunately my voice wasn't working properly.... usually I can scream like a little girl

i think i could of done a better mixing with the vocals, i thought it was just the ear plugs i was wearing, because they didnt sound the best, i think they could of cut back on the kickdrum a bit, i felt like i was getting kicked in the chest by a horse, i like bass as much as the next person but thats a bit much, maybe im just picky because im a sound guy at two churches, but hanging around guys who play music and listen to a large variaty of music since i was 14 gives you good ear for how music should sound, plus one of my main influances is the same guy that is doing the recoreding for GFs next album.

I went to this, proudly wearing my Mort shirt. For some reason, I recall someone commenting on it as we left... wasn't one of you guys, was it?
This was the first time that I had heard Pillar, and to be perfectly honest, I didn't really think that much of them, but hey, to each their own, right?
Switchfoot were pretty cool though....

I don't remember seeing any other Mort shirts. Although I did kinda give up looking at peoples shirt after a while.. as on the whole, there were none worth looking at. Well, at least we know that there were two Mort shirts and an Ultimatum shirt there

Hahaha, I didn't see anyone else in a Mort shirt, though there were certainly plenty of underoath/bullet for my valentine/metalcore rubbish shirts. If I'd seen another Mortie fan I certainly would have gone and introduced myself!
