Here is the front cover of the upcoming Burial Grounds EP "Burial Of Corpses". The artwork is done by legendary Jayson Sherlock. This preview of the art is only a small amount of what you will see when you purchase the EP. The cover is actually a fold out wrap around cover so its a full page art spread. Jayson has also done all the tray inlay artwork as well. Special bonus: The first 100 sales of the album come with a complimentary "Burial Grounds" sticker also featuring artwork by Jayson Sherlock.

Thats good news. Oh... I have no idea if that thong is washable... hope the ink doesn't wash out if he tries. I was going to suggest taking a photo of it for the band site... but if hes been wearing it... I might have taken a picture before giving it to him though?

very eyecatchin...I guess Jayson wanted to get on the scourgedflesh juggernaut as it speeds off into legendary status for the Maker...., and boy has he contributed!.....in fitting style true to his legendary status...
I was giving "bury the lies" a spin today on the car stereo...that double kick attack n crunch with excellent guitars was really hittin the spot for me...love your work!

Its not released yet PI, so you'll just have to wait a little longer. Dave wants to have it done by the end of the year, but we'll have to wait and see.
It is well worth the wait though, believe me.

The artwork is great!! Looking forward to hearing this one!! Thanks man!!! Its taking a bit longer to finish than we thought. We haven't actually spent heaps of time on it but it takes us weeks to get into the studio for 1 day. We only have about 30mins worth of mixing to go and then master it. When we get into the studio for that half an hour though is anybody's guess. ;D

It was funny, and he loved it too, so it worked out well. I'm just glad I didn't have to try and draw/trace the Scourged Flesh logo. That would have been nasty.

^^^ Yeah man. I spent days drawing the Scourged Flesh logo. I spent many hours over a couple days just on the thorns around the logo.

I found a way to trace the logos, involving placing a light under them. I had to simplify some of them on a computer first. If I ever did a SF one, the thorns would be the hardest part to get right.
