Jacob's Dream www.myspace.com/jacobsdream Make sure you listen to Sarah Williams. Its my favorite song of the album Theater of War, even though it is a ballad. Listen to the rest of the songs as well. They have had a couple of vocalist changes, and its really noticeable, still good though.

Hey guys, how many of you know of or are a fan of the band called Cage? I found out about them just recently from www.metalreview.com (http://www.metalreview.com/Artists/467/Cage.aspx), and bought their latest album 'Hell Destroyer' from JB Hifi yesterday. It freakin rules!! Its like the best of Rob Rock, Iced Earth, Judas Priest and King Diamond all rolled into one. Insanely brutal power double-bass driven power metal with killer riffs and scorching solos. The best part is the absolutely monumental vocals of Sean Peck - you seriously have to hear this guy!!! He's like Tim Owens, Matt Barlow, Rob Rock, Rob Halford and King Diamond all rolled into one. I think it wont be long before this guy is elevated to legendary status in the metal community in the same way that Halford is now. The only thing that might put off some Christian listeners are the lyrics. I opened up the booklet to the song 'born in blood' and immediately thought 'oh no, what have I bought?...' 'Rise almighty dark lord for all that is unholy Bring your blasphemous reign upon this tormented land Born from a sea of blood, take power and devour Rise, oh master, and bring forth revelation' But then I read a bit more and realised that this is a concept album that is very (very) loosely based on a premillenial view of the book of revelation, going into the rise of the antichrist and the beast and the battle for armageddon and so on. Its a little different from most metal albums in that the powers of good actually win in the end (the album is called 'Hell Destroyer' after all)! It actually fooled the reviewer at metalreview.com into thinking that Cage are a christian band when they aren't. They might have had some Christian upbringing between them, but with songs like 'Christhammer' you kinda see that the lyrics are based on Christian themes, but very loosely. I see on their myspace page that they're playing at Cornerstone though?? hmmm... But enough of me blabbing, go to their myspace page and listen to the song 'Hell Destroyer' now!!: www.myspace.com/cageheavymetal"hell, hell, HELL DESTROYEEEEERRR!!!!!"

They were rather controversial when it was announced on FS that they were playing at Cornerstone... it would seem they they are heading in the right direction, but aren't quite there yet.

Yes, they were originally scheduled to play at Cornerstone but when they were asked some questions in regards to their performances, they then said that they were not going to be available to play at Cornerstone due to other commitements.

I had assumed everyone already knew of them The Keeper of the Seven Keys Parts I & II are all you need. However, Metal Jukebox is fun.

bollocks.... get Walls of Jericho also...it's better than keeper part II
Master of the Rings ain't that bad either... Time of The Oath is Ok....
Alternatively, go out and buy Gamma Ray's Land of the Free Part II, and listen to it about 20 times in a row.

Oh, I've got Land of the Free Part II on my desk here. It's still wrapped, and has been sitting here for nearly half a year at the bottom of a pile... maybe I should open it.
Gamma Ray - Heading For Tomorrow was good
