Hi Everyone,
I'm inviting any of the Moshers who'll be in Perth on Saturday the 2nd of August to meet up at "The Moon and Sixpence" for a Mid Winter Lunch at 12pm. This is "The Moon and Sixpence" in Perth on Murray St near to "Bobby Dazzlers".
Expect a meal and a drink to set you back $20-$30, although if we just go for finger foods and share, it could be cheaper.

indeed it would.
actually, after checking the menu, the cost seems to be pretty accurate for a pub, so no dramas there....

Matt and I are at a birthday party that day... but not sure of the timing, it may be in the evening. I'll find out for you.

What kind of restaurant is that? just out of curiosity. Also...me being American I totally looked at the date and was like HUH? but then I figured it out. I don't get why we have to be contrary to the way the rest of the world writes things.

We've got another party that starts at 2pm, so we should be able to make it for at least an hour.

What kind of restaurant is that? just out of curiosity. Not really a restaurant per se... it's more of a bar. Don't know what it's like in America, but in Oz most of the pubs hava a restaurant attached so that they can get more money off of you.... ;D

There's a few places around here like that....there's a pub my band plays at a lot, they're a beer and wine bar but they do have sandwiches and other foods (mostly easy things like fried foods and cold/hot sandwiches). The only real things that are more like what you're talking I suppose is there's a lot of SPECIALTY restaurants that have bars...like there's a coffee shop that's also a pub/organic foods restaurant. Or there's this more vegetarian oriented restaurant called TASTE which is organic/vegan in nature but also has a pretty sick wine/beer selection (mostly imports and micro brews) and also a stage.

Ok, there will be 3 of us attending, Matt, Bernie and myself. We can only stay for an hour or two though before we have to leave for the birthday party... as corpse paint needs to be applied... Also, has anyone mentioned anything about a Mexican restaurant, and a trip to the Little Creatures Brewery on here lately? I was absolutely certain that was where this lunch was being held until I re-read the thread just a moment ago...

Definitely at the Moon and Sixpence in Perth....
However later in the year there might be something at Little Creatures, you never know. We'll be moving to Japan in the first week of November. So I might need to have a send off party or two or three or four... or maybe even more ;D ;D ;D

Hehehe, I'm the only one not in a black shirt. Do you guys really wear your metal shirts out wherever you go? I just get them out for gigs.

Um, my shirt is actually a punk shirt, not a metal shirt, so no, I don't.
