So yeah, now that the PSP is hacked I can run a boat load of different emulators, but ive found that my favorite is the Ps1 emulation. I mean having the PS1 diablo in the palm of my hand is a dream come true

Basically the PSP is a pretty powerful handheld device. But the official software that runs the handheld only allows for officially produced Sony Brand games to run on it. I had a guy install something called Customer Firmware on my PSP which not allows me to run emulators and homebrew games and applications on my PSP along with my commercially obtained games. One of the emulators that I can use is for Playstation 1 which means I can play various original playstation games on the handheld.

Ah ok... now you just need to explain how you get the PS1 game onto the PSP, as I don't remember the PSP taking cds.

It doesnt, I have to rip my PS1 CDs onto my PC and then turn them into .iso files, then I load the .iso files onto my PSP memory card and run the games that way.

Ah, didn't know that the PSP had a memory card... actually yes I did, I just forgot. I remember a friend showing me an episode of Family Guy on his PSP years ago.

Yeah the mem cards can get pretty big too, I have a 2 gb one and a 4 gb one, I can store a fair amount of stuff on them.
