Cant say im too happy with this review.
"I am not one of those Metal purists, claiming to despise anything and everything about Metalcore with every fiber of my being, so that’s not why I gave END OF DESTINY’s “The Thoughtless Existence” a low grade. Hell, considering some of the bands I love listening to, Metal purists would chant “POSER!” at me every time they see me, and they would demand that I hand in Metal warrior badge.
I’m giving this a low grade because it is the worst example of derivative and boring music, sloppy musicianship and horrendous production. I’d say that END OF DESTINY sounds like a poor man’s SHADOWS FALL & LAMB OF GOD but that would be giving them too much credit. They sound like the unprofessional version of those bands featured on countless sampler CDs that come with the more “trendy” Rock/Metal magazines. You know the ones, they all look and sound the same, and are all hyped like the next big thing.
The sloppy musicianship shows up at the beginning of the album, where the opening riff is played VERY sloppily, and is off with the beat. Syncopation works great when done right, but this was just ****ty playing. That started the album off on a giant fart for me, and it got no better. The music was mindless and repetitive, with a noticeable over-use of low E string chugging on the guitar as a crutch for the lack of ability to write genuinely heavy riffs. Also, whoever decided to use that keyboard sound should stop doing drugs, because the instrument used sounds like it was bought for 60$ at a garage sale, and then recorded through a metal trash can.
This is the worst example of an already oversaturated genre. Don’t waste your time.

what bothers me the very most is that this review is written under the premise that we were trying to be the heaviest band ever, or that we were trying to sound like the bands he compared us to.
