^^ ;D I already knew that. Thats why I said "close" to one of the only copies.haha. I really don't like signing cd's but I do it if the fans want it. It just doesn't seem right to me. Why anyone would want our signature confuses me. ;D

Having sought autographs myself, I can see the appeal. It's just that when people ask me to sign I find it funny - I just don't feel like my signature holds any value.
Rowland, maybe you can handle all Burial Grounds and Grave Forsaken signings for us!

I think it just looks cool to have them signed. Kind of like a paint artist signing off their canvas as they finish their work!!

To me, a signature is almost like a photograph. Its a memory, something you can look back on and say "I remember when I meet him". Of course my argument falls apart in light of what I took to Stump to get signed I get them signed for myself though, not to add value to the albums. So it doesn't matter if Dave or Vaughan think their signatures are worthless, cos most fans are aren't trying to add monetary value to their record, but rather sentimental value.

So it doesn't matter if Dave or Vaughan think their signatures are worthless, cos most fans are aren't trying to add monetary value to their record, but rather sentimental value. You are correct but when me and Vaughan say "our signatures are worthless" we aren't talking about monetary value. I don't know of many people who would get signatures to boost value of an item? What me and Vaughan are saying, because we have discussed this before, is that to us it feels strange that we would be signing stuff. of course we want stuff signed by our heroes for sentimental value but for people to want our signatures, it just seems wierd. We are more than happy signing stuff, we are purely stating that to us its somethign we aren't used to so it makes us feel "strange". Don't know if that makes sense? To me is does anyway. You see, other people like signing things to boost their ego, Vaughan and myself just can't do that. No matter how much stuff we sign it will never seem right to us. Like I said though, we are more than happy to sign things and if it makes other people stoked, thats AWESOME!!

I think it just looks cool to have them signed. Kind of like a paint artist signing off their canvas as they finish their work!! No probs at all dude. Don't worry, you will have your copy signed ;D The thing is, you don't want the front signed do you? Personally I think it will ruin the artwork. The booklet for this EP doesn't have pages like our other booklets. All it has is a wraparound cover with artwork on front and back and the other side has big band photo. I would suggest the band photo gets signed because there isn't much other room for it anywhere else, up to you though mate.

^^^ Yeah dude. Good point!! Some signatures are so hard to figure out who's is who's. When Mayhem signed my concert ticket many years ago I had no idea who's was who's. They all had upside down crosses in their signature. Bit gay really.lol

Eh... at least most of them believe what that sing about... better than being posers!

There are some really anti-religion black metal bands over in Tasmania. All about burning down churches and stuff... thankfully they haven't done it, but they have the old view that black metal is a cult, not a style of music, and the music is just a front for it.

Eh... at least most of them believe what that sing about... better than being posers! Actually thats the thing, most people in Black Metal bands are posers. Half of them aren't satanists at all. Whats funny is that Hellhammer of Mayem/Dimmu Boiger fame recorded the drums on Antestor's "The Forsaken" album, a satanist wouldn't do that. Hellhammer has already stated that he ain't a "satanist" in the religious sense. He believes in himself and thats it.

Yeah, Hellhammer sees himself as just a musician now... having one of his mates murder another of his mates kinda shock his beliefs a bit

But thats what I mean, they sing about chopping off the heads of priests, virgin sacrifices, burning churches etc... but most of them don't do it. The Norwiegan black metal scene is quite true to its satanic roots with sacrifices to satan etc.. but 75% of black metal bands are just riding on the coat tails of the "real" satanic black metal bands. Just singing about satanism doesn't make them satanists in the same way as just singing about Christianity doesn't make someone a Christian either.
